The housing landscape of New Brunswick has change negatively to the passive-income landlord-occupant homeowner. The renter in 2024 proved that it was a good time to take the unit off the rental market and make it part of the home again. There will be an immediate property tax savings and now we can have friends visit in their own space, allowing them to do all the weird stuff they do in their own homes without us seeing it (or smelling it).
